It was a soccer double-header (no pun intended) as both the Sharyland boys and girls teams made a visit to Edinburg Vela Tuesday night.  Not a good night for the Saber Cats, however, as the Rattlers took both contests:  6-0 girls and 5-0 boys.

The Sharyland Rattlers ended the regular basketball season with a lop-sided 74-33 over La Joya Tuesday night - and had a little fun with three dunks during the second half - two by John Horner and another by Jose De La Garza.

Basketball - Edinburg Vela @ Sharyland

The Sharyland Lady Rattlers and the Vela Lady Sabercats took the challenge to the court on Tuesday night to determine Playoff seedings in District 30-5A. A close game that was decided until the very end with plenty of excitement.  The Sharyland Lady Rattlers defended their home turf and beat the Vela Lady Sabercats by a free throw in the last second of the game.

In the second game, the Sharyland Rattlers and the Vela Sabercats were running hot on emotions. Things got a bit emotional, but eventually cooler heads prevailed. The Rattlers took control of the game early and beat the Sabercats convincingly.

Basketball - PSJA Memorial @ Nikki Rowe

The Nikki Rowe Lady Warriors hosted the PSJA Memorial Lady Wolverines in the first game of a Friday doubleheader. The Lady Warriors did not take long to pull away and take the victory over the Lady Wolverines.

In the second game, the PSJA Wolverines kept the Nikki Rowe Warriors within distance in the first half, but the Nikki Rowe Warriors took control of the second half and defeated the PSJA Wolverines by a large margin.
