There was little for the Huskies to feel good about Friday night as the defense of the Edinburg North Cougars kept them bottled up all night. Juarez-Lincoln had a mere 28 yards rushing at the half and passes were constantly broken up. North scored on running plays, like Chavez diving across the goal during the first half. The game was shortened halfway through the 3rd quarter due to lightening in the vicinity, and the 33-0 score became the final.
We have photos for the Huskies and the Cougars - just give us a little time to get them processed and posted.
