The game was a barn-burner, but it was decided by mistakes. Both teams committed unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the closing minutes of the game, but the Eagles had an apparent winning touchdown called back for a holding penalty with seconds remaining in the game and that doomed them to a 35-32 loss to the visiting Rattlers of Rio Grande City.
