Football - Nikki Rowe at McAllen Memorial

Regulation time was not enough to settle this City of Palms rivalry between the Nikki Rowe Warriors and the McAllen Memorial Mustangs. The running game of the Mustangs was difficult to stop in the beginning of the game, but the Warriors countered that with a solid passing game. A blocked field goal by the Nikki Rowe Warriors sent the game to overtime, but the McAllen Memorial Mustangs forced an interception in the first possession of the extra time. A great play action set the winning touchdown for the Mustangs who took the victory over the Warriors 35-28 in overtime.
