Football: Sharyland v Edinburg

Two old-time schools with great football traditions met Friday night, but only one was able to keep that tradition.  When the Bobcats of Edinburg visited Rattler Stadium, they found Sharyland to be poor hosts.  The game was over by the end of the first quarter as the Rattlers scored on their first three possessions and the defense shut down Edinburg completely.  The final was 49-3, with Edinburg scoring a field goal in the fourth quarter and both teams substituting freely.
